Apply for Fully Funded Scholarship for Academic Year 2024 in Thailand The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) is a prestigious multidisciplinary post-graduate academic institute established in 2005 under the visionary initiative of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana. CGI is committed to employing the latest interactive teaching techniques used by leading educational and research institutions to cultivate effective thinkers and leaders who can address their countries’ needs for sustainable development. CGI currently offers Master’s degree programs in Applied Biological Sciences with specializations in Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, and Chemical Sciences.
This year, the CGI is pleased to announce the availability of 15 scholarships for international applicants (excluding Thai citizens) to pursue a Master’s Degree at CGI. The selection of scholars will be based on merit.
Eligibility
The scholarships are open to eligible applicants who meet the following qualifications:
- Must be under 30 years of age
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 in one of the following fields:
- Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences
- Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Applicants from other related fields are also welcome to apply
- Have experience in scientific laboratory research
- Must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably through one of two recognized language proficiency tests (TOEFL, IELTS)
- Must provide a statement of purpose explaining their interests in the study

- Chemical Sciences
Scholarship Coverage
The scholarship will cover various expenses, including tuition and other academic fees (credit fee, laboratory expenses, refresher course, enrollment fee, thesis fee, production of thesis documents), round trip airfare, visa fee, first settlement allowance, relocation allowance, accommodation, monthly stipend, book allowance, health insurance, and other related costs.
Award Period
The scholarship award will include a 6-week refresher course, followed by a 2-year Master’s Degree program, subject to an annual review of the scholar’s satisfactory progress.
